OUR MISSION

At Article 25 Foundation, we work every day to achieve the following mission:

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people living with dementia worldwide. We do this by raising awareness, recognising and interacting with people living with dimentia as equals, and ensuring they are fully included members of our society.

We realise our mission through the principle that Seeing Differently is Doing Differently. Seeing Differently to change the perception of (people living with) dementia. Doing Differently to provide practical help and demonstrate how things can be done differently.

In a world where we mostly speak of loss, there is still a world to win!

The foundation
Values
EQUALITY

By continuing to see the person living with dementia not as a patient, but as a human being, caring for the patient will change into caring for the person.

INCLUSIVITY

Being valued is vital, so do not exclude people living with dementia, ensure they are included.

reciprocity
Reciprocity is something that is often forgotten when it comes to dementia, yet it is precisely this value that creates genuine connection.
Why article 25

Article 25 Foundation was born out of love for every person, especially for those living with dementia. The name of the foundation originates from Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This article states that every person, regardless of limitations, has the right to a certain quality of life: an adequate standard of living.

OUR VISION

We believe in a world where people living with dementia are fully integrated into our society. By 2030, it will be self-evident that they are seen, heard, and treated equally. Article 25 Foundation plays a driving role in this: we are building an inclusive society in which we put people first. We do this by initiating dialogue, breaking down barriers, and collaborating on initiatives that truly make a difference for people living with dementia and their loved ones.
